Tweed Delight is a woolen tweed yarn with a classic composition, primarily made from a lovely South American wool and the pretty tweed flecks from viscose. The yarn is lightly twined with a rustic structure, which makes it nice and soft and creates a beautiful end result.

Use Tweed Delight when you want a beautiful, classic look you can stay warm in. It’s ideal for e.g. soft sweaters, hats and scarves.

Enjoy the beautiful play of colors in Tweed Delight. We’ve put an extra effort into creating a lovely harmony between the primary color of the yarn and the flecks. Find your favorite among the classic, subdued colors – and the ones covered in a cornucopia of different nuances.

The yarn is OEKO-TEX® certified (no. 1976-294). Find more information about the certification on the https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

I'm pretty new to wool-blend yarns (I learnt to crochet on acrylic, and mostly use cotton now), and this is a great transition. I like the texture, its a bit airy and light, yet holds warmth very well. the worsted weight size makes it fast to work up. it's a single ply of yarn, relatively tightly spun so it doesn't feel like roving as much as other single ply yarn, but it does tend to felt itself as you work, which can make it hard to frog. it's surprisingly soft for such a well priced wool yarn, i'm very happy. The dark raspberry color is gorgeous, it's a bright midtone pink, exactly what I hope for from a "raspberry' color, with a rainbow of tweed speckles. most of the speckles are well integrated and make for a cohesive yarn, but i do lose a couple on each skein. overall, great yarn, will buy again

I really love this yarn! I'm surprised by how soft it is and it's very easy to work with. It's has a great texture, too. I'm working on a sweater with it now and I wasn't sure how it would look with the variation in the thickness of the yarn but the sweater is coming along beautifully. The yarn texture only makes the sweater more visually appealing. I bought the black and geranium for an 80s look and it's going to look totally rad when I'm finished!

This yarn is super soft. I got 5 colors of it to make a short-sleeved top for autumn and it's just about the right amount of thickness and warmness. Its shape didn't change much after washing. It's not tickly like how wool usually does. The only thing is the tweed might come off if you're not treating it gently. But missing 1/2 tweed isn't that big of a deal and the colors are grogeous.

I rarely use acrylic yarn, but when Frederikke reached out to me and asked me to use this for one of my designs, I decided to give it a shot and I am so glad I did! This yarn feels and looks no different than a high priced woolen spun wool! I’m designing a cardigan with it and it is so soft and cozy. Not to mention all of those little gorgeous pops of color! What’s not to love!

As someone who doesn't like the feel of wool, this yarn is surprisingly pleasant!! And my gosh, it really is just the cutest. I audibly squealed when I pulled it out of the bag! The speckles of color are absolutely delightful and feel like they're woven in pretty firmly. If you want something fun to add to a bigger project, or a good hat yarn, this really does the trick.
