Who said that cotton cannot be fun and glittery at the same time?

Such a unique yarn required an equally unique name. Panettone might remind you of the famous fluffy Italian sweet enjoyed during the holiday season. We feel like we cannot get enough of the holiday vibe, even when it is out of the season. We just want to keep the yarn party going all year!

Panettone is made out of 87% cotton, 7% polyamide, and 6% glittery metallic fibers. We recommend knitting this beauty of a yarn with 4.5 mm (US 7) knitting needles, but feel free to double it up to achieve a chunkier and even more colorful effect.

The color palette is vibrant and fun, without giving up the pastel colors we all like. The glittery fibers are completely blended into the yarn, hence you won’t be able to feel it on your skin at all. It will be perfect for clothing, home decor, or anything else that you want to create with some sparkles.

From now on we promise you will feel like Panettone all year around.

I absolutely loved working with this yarn! I used this on my Addi express machine to make a sweater and it was the perfect weight to work with my machine with no issues at all !

I've just finished crocheting a cardigan for my daughter with the cream and gold and it came together awesome. The yarn was super easy to crochet with.

I used 13 balls of Panettone in Cognac to test crochet a jacket for Hobbii. Overall, I loved working with this yarn! The color was beautiful and the metallic not too overwhelming! The texture was interesting, the metallic bits work up a bit thinner than the cotton but you can still achieve a very even stitch. It worked up to be pleasantly heavy from the cotton while still squishy due to the construction of the yarn! Would love to try knitting in some more colors!
This would be 5 stars, however 3/10 of my skeins did arrive damaged, one of which I had to throw away almost half, but thankfully I had enough to finish.

I liked working with this yarn - the colors are very pretty and I liked the way the finished project looks. The one thing I didn't love is that the metallic bits of the yarn are thinner than the nonmetallic bits. Depending on the stitch, things can end up looking a bit uneven. I had to change up my tension to try to even things out. The metallic bits are also a bit scratchy. I used it to make a bag so that didn't matter but I wouldn't use it for wearables.

Overall I like it and would use it again.
