Cotton is a great, strong, durable, breathable, absorbent, and lightweight natural fiber. Friends Cotton 8/8 has no less than all these characteristics and it is made out of 8 threads spun together.
All the shades have been thoughtfully selected to create a complete range that spans from bright to pastel and darker colors.

You must try this yarn!! I usually buy the rainbow cotton 8/4, and I love that so much, that I never thought I would get anything else. However, I really want to make a cardigan, and I would prefer yarn that is a bit thicker so it can be a warmer piece. Well, the friends cotton 8/8 IS thicker, and the softest yarn I've ever felt. It feels so good on my face. Lol. I bought the color called Turkish Blue, and it must be popular, because I tried adding another 22 skeins to my cart to order, and it was sold out. The color itself matches the picture exactly, and it's such a beautiful color that I can't wait to order more.

I am so impressed with this yarn!
A few months ago I was playing around with different types/brands of cotton yarn, but I think Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/8 might be my favorite!
Some cotton yarn feels very stiff and scratchy, but this yarn is the absolute softest cotton yarn I’ve ever felt. I have had no issues at all with fibers separating as I’m working with it.
This yarn is a dream!!! (Good thing I like it, I bought 16 skeins!) I’ll be sure to post pictures of my makes as they come off the hook !

I'm working on a mental health blanket (modified temperature blanket) with mostly this yarn (i.e. looong rows, lots of color changes, lots of handling the piece), and it is incredible! So so soft, I keep rubbing my cheek on the work as I go! All the colors I got are true to what is shown on the site. The weight matches up perfectly with the Cotton Kings 8/8 and Rainbow 8/8. Color changes with a fisherman's knot have been a breeze, even with a short tail. So great to work with!

So far of the cotton yarns I have tried from Hobbii this is my favorite for softness and stitch definition. I have not tried it as a wearable yet but it is on my radar to be used as such. These would also probably make great face scrubbies as they seem like they would be nice and gentle.
As a tactile person this yarn, at least in crochet, squishes quit nicely as you handle the project you're working on.

I bought a few different colors of this cotton yarn. None of them disappointed. These colors are so vibrant. I mostly use cotton yarns since I primarily crochet kitchen and bath items. Other brands can be fuzzy or the colors are muted but these Friends yarns are smooth and beautiful. The strands are twisted tight and have never split on me. I will probably never use another brand of cotton yarn again.
