You can now contribute to giving a new life to used denim. You heard it right. Our Denim Breeze is made out of recycled jeans. The reused cotton comes from leftover garments from the fashion industry as well as second-hand jeans. This way garments that would otherwise have been burnt or landed in the landfill can be recycled and used to knit and crochet beautiful new garments.

Denim Breeze is made out of 80% recycled cotton, mixed with 15% of new cotton and 5% of other fibers. These other fibers include some of the components jeans are made from such as labels, sewing threads, lining, etc. 

This cotton yarn will feel exactly the same as any standard cotton. Amongst some of its characteristics: it is durable, easy to take care of, breathable, and lightweight. 

Denim Breeze is a twisted fine yarn with a bit of a rustic feel to it. The color range is mostly toned down with very pretty subtle speckles.

Cardigans, dresses, tops, children's clothing, home decor projects and dishcloths are just a few things that you will be able to create with this yarn. 

Moreover, no animal products have been used during the production of Denim Breeze, making it a vegan yarn. If the idea of a vegan yarn made out of recycled cotton intrigues you, we definitely think that you should give this yarn a try.
