This is a lovely soft cotton fingering yarn that is easy to work with and doesn’t split. It feels like Cotton Kings 8/4. This is a much softer and better quality cotton yarn than the rough worsted weight cotton available throughout the US. Both the Aqua (color 12) and Dark Green (color 13) Black Friday Cotton 8/4 colors that I purchased are a bit darker in hue than what is shown on the website.

I purchased multiple bags of different colours. This is lovely cotton which has a bit of a rustic look to it.
I have only crocheted baby blankets but this yarn would be great for many things.
It is soft and durable, strands do not part while crocheting. I used 7.0 or 7.5 hooks.
If you require a smoother softer yarn then I recommend "paintbox cotton" or mercerized.

Thi yarn is very nice for cotton cloth and also great for potholders - if doubled up. The colours in the picures are very very close to what you get. They are a very good price.
