Amigo Chunky Aquarelle is adding a beautiful, mottled look to the Amigo line. The print was created based on the Amigo colors, where carefully selected colors intertwine - like beautiful watercolors.
The yarn is soft, thick, and has a fabulous and airy volume. It’s produced from 100% acrylic in a fantastic, full bodied quality, and the wide selection of beautiful shades invites lots of creative color choices. The pretty print version can be used as is, or it can be combined with a solid color Amigo Chunky. Use it in a harmonic, uniform look or as a cool contrast. We have a wealth of different colors to choose from. You can let the color names guide you if you want to match Aquarelle with its solid color version; the names are the same.
Amigo Chunky Aquarelle works best on thick needles or hooks, from 7 mm and up. With the large, chunky 100 gram skeins you’ll see results fast. That makes it ideal for thick sweaters, exciting interiors like blankets and pillows, or soft accessories like hats, scarves, etc. The airy yarn will keep you warm and isn’t too heavy.
The entire Amigo line is machine washable at 30°C (86°F), perfect for everyday use. Colors and the shape of the finished project are not affected by washing. If you’re allergic to wool, or you don’t want to use animal fibers for other reasons, then you can replace the yarn with one from the Amigo family and achieve a soft and lovely result.

I loved knitting with this yarn. With the one skein I made hand/wrist warmers and a headband. It has a great feel to it while knitting and while wearing. I haven’t washed it yet, but based on other reviews it should hold up well. I used color 8/dusty green and will also try to upload a photo. I used a free pattern from Mary LeBlanc (Mountain Peak Headband) found on Ravelry for the headband (altered for the yarn weight) and winged it on the wrist warmers.

First ever crochet project (longtime knitter). I found a fun EASY pattern for a basket on you tube from TL Yarn crafts to use up some of this yarn I bought awhile back. I love knitting and crocheting with this chunky yarn. It is comfortable to hold and sort of squishy. It works up fast and looks great! The pattern calls for a double strand and a 9 mm hook, and this worked perfectly.

Super easy to work with! I purchased multiple colors and each was consistent with the next. One skien was enough to create a mitten coozie. Thick enough to minimize temperature transfer. I'm not sure I would recommend this for blankets are sweaters as it seems to be a little too stiff and scratchy but it worked really well for the project I needed.

This yarn is super easy to work with and super soft. The texture reminds me more of a rope than traditional worsted yarn. That’s a good thing cause I feel that it makes the material extra strong without sacrificing softness. I used it for a pair of slippers for myself and the yarn is great at keeping my toes warm even on the chilliest days.

I love this yarn. It's beautiful. I've used it for 3 afghans, each a different color combination. All of them turned out gorgeously and made great presents. This is soft enough for a blanket and works up fast. I border in a solid color and add a fringe. Can't get enough of it. 14 skeins does a good job for an afghan.
