We love Christmas here at Hobbii. We love the cozy Advent time, the smell of freshly baked cookies, the decorations all over the house, the warm fireplace, and last but not least, all the lovely yarn moments.
But waiting for Christmas to come around can be hard. Never has waiting 25 days been so hard as it is in December. And so, we thought we would help you make the long wait for Christmas a little easier. We made an Advent Calendar for those of you who love knitting - full of surprises and Christmas spirit!
The Advent Calendar consists of 4 presents, and you get to open one of them on each Sunday of Advent. Each present contains a surprise mix of yarn and accessories as well as a link and a QR code for a brand new pattern, in case you don’t know what you would like to make with the yarn and need a little inspiration. And Santa has been by our warehouse and has added a few extra surprises if I know him right. You could use the wait to get some 3,5 mm (US E-4) and 4,0 mm (US g-6) double-pointed needles as well as a 5,0 mm (US H-8) circular needle (80 cm/31.5”) from your stash - you’re going to need them.
The Advent Calendar is also a perfect early Christmas present for anyone who loves knitting.

Super excited for this advent calendar. I don't purchase advent calendar style items for myself, but I loved the idea of how it's everything included for a project plus a pattern rather than the traditional small box each day. Plus a fun way to try out different styles of yarn. Description does mention you'll need to have needles. Thank you Hobbii!!!

I couldn't wait until Christmas so I opened all the boxes and had my birthday gift instead. I enjoyed all of it! Anything and everything was placed in the advent calendar from yarn, hooks to assesories. I won't spoil it for anyone else but this advent calender will not disappoint!

I have really enjoyed the patterns that are included with the Advent calendar. All the supplies are included in the box, and it's a great way to learn new techniques.

This was my first advent with Hobbii. I won't be doing another. I bought late which means it came late which was fine but because it was late, I opened them all at the same time and I found myself hoping after each box that the next one would be better. They weren't. Uninspiring yarns in colors that were drab and dull. Green acrylic with brown fur? The 100% wool for socks is scratchy and, again, green and gray. Does the person who put this particular advent together hate color? The little extras were not particularly inspiring either other than the cute scissors and the magnifying ruler. Everything else, as a crafter, I already have and seemed to be from the points store. I thought for sure there might be one set of knitting needles in there but nope. I wish I'd spent the money on yarns and colors I knew I'd like rather than this uninspiring, drab collection of things I am already trying to decide who to give it away to.
